I haven't done this in a while, so I figured I'd give a short update. Not a WHOLE lot is new, just some stuff here and there. So here it goes:

Well, I got a job at Safeway as a Food/Grocery Clerk, not sure if I said that in my last entry, but yup I'm working. However, after final exams and Christmas, I found out that I've been discontinued for the year from my course. So I'm currently on the search for a full time job. Sorry Safeway. Next year, which I will be going back to school, I'm debating on switched courses and taking Electronics Technician, which is a 30 week course, then doing Telecommunications/Radio Technician, which is 22 weeks. So we'll see how that goes, don't wanna jump the gun too much on that.

Still single, haven't found anyone to go out with, except one girl, who doesn't seem to want to go out with me. [Put Some Emo Statement Here]. So yeah, I've just been kicking back on my lonesome.

Ooh! I'm sick. Haha, that's something new. Yeah, a couple days ago I noticed my throat was getting sore, and for the past three days my throats been swollen and slightly infected with a virus. However, today has been a better day and I think it's going away already. So that's a good thing.

Anyways, I guess that the only update I have. I'll post a list of my loot from Christmas below, so peace!

Loot List:
Samsung 5.1 Surround Sound system
Mario Kart Wii
Teddy Bear (From the lovely Kayla <3 :) )
Kitty Blanket (From the lovely Ariel Pizzey <3 :) )
The Transporter 1 and 2, and Harry Potter 6
Remmington Electric Razor/Trimmer
A few gift cards
Some towels
Sonic and the Secret Rings

And I think that would be it. If I think of anymore, I'll edit this post, haha. Peace, again.

Bloggerific

Hey blogger-world. I know I don't blog much but that's because I don't do much with my life. Yet I still somehow use Twitter... Anyways.

Not much has changed in my life since my last post. The only one-up is that I start at Safeway sometime this week, just waiting for the call to set up my first training shift. That'll be interesting, so I cannot wait. I was in Melville this past weekend(Nov. 6, 7, and 8), and I had a pretty fun time. Got to see a lot of friends: KC, Terami, Amber, Kayla, Ian, Jessey, Kasity, and Megan, just to name a few. I was a little sad that I never got to see a few of my friends but oh well, I'll be back... Eventually. Something else new... I need a haircut. I have too much hair to deal with, it is not tamable... So hopefully Ariel P. will be able to give me a haircut soon. It'll be something simple, like a buzz-cut, that way I won't have to deal with it for a month or so.

Ah, yes, another piece of news. My goatee... it is gone. I had to shave it off for work, no beards, so now I'm "clean" shaven(not at the moment, I gotta shave tomorrow, ha ha). I'm also kind of sick, a little gross stomached, cough, and sore throat. I hope I get better, I'm sick of being sick, haha.

To any Villeans that read this, I don't know when I'll be in Melville next, but keep your eyes peeled, because who knows? If I get a weekend off, I'll suddenly appear, homework or not.

Anyways, I'm off, peaces and the like!

Oh my...

It's been so long since I've made a post, and so far only one is meaningful. To anyone who views this, which there probably are not many, there are one or two updates in my life.

Update #1:
Ariel W. and I have separated, and are no longer an item. It was an interesting (almost) two years, and I wish her the best.

Update #2:
I'm back in Saskatoon, taking my second of three years at SIAST. Schools been going well so far. First day of classes was back on the 26th of August, and we're just hitting midterms now. Two down, two or three to go.

Update #3:
Ariel P. and Mitch W.(Ariel W.'s brother) are now up in Saskatoon, so now I'm not so lonely up here.

Update #4:
I may be single, but I'm not really looking for anything serious right now, if anyone cares. Just looking to go on dates and get experience in a department that I'm not too terribly familiar with.

But yeah, that's all that's new and interesting in my life. Oh...

Update #5:
I've been working a lot towards music, have a couple tracks in the works, one beat I'm fiddling with, and I've been writing lyrics a lot more lately. Maybe I'll get something recorded. We shall see.

Anyways, Bloggerverse, I'm off to do something, probably sleep, so I'll hit ya up with a new post one day. Peace and love!

Sincerely,
Chad Kosteroski

Body Modification: Trend vs Lifestyle

Many years ago, and I'm talking like sixty-ish years, it was uncommon for tattoos to appear on anyone, and piercings to appear on men. Well, in North America that is. But in places such as Japan, tattoos were common among high ranking "gangsters," so to speak. It was their lifestyle, it showed who they were and the bigger the tattoo, the deadlier they were. Now in today's culture, you see tattoos on everyone, from tiny butterflies across the lower back to amazing portraits running down the arm, in what is called a "sleeve."

The same is for piercings, and many cultures through out Asia and Africa. Piercings were a form of respect or power within a community of peoples. The more piercings you had, the more respect you were given. In today's style, you see it as, again, a common thing. Men and women alike getting piercings on their nose, lips, eyebrows, nipples, but most commonly on their ears - the lobe up to the pinna (the upper, outside cartiledge bit of the ear). Myself, I like the idea of both and intend to get many of both, and I started my journey at 14 with getting a left lobe piercing, and now I have both left and right and my second lobe piercing on my left ear.

Some people just get piercings or tattoos because they will be deemed cool if they got it. I know that was my original reason for getting my ear pierced. I wanted to be somewhat cool so I did it. Eventually, I realized that I like piercings (a lot) and I got my other lobe done, and my second lobe piercing done at the same time, and I've only two regrets: stretching my lobes two quickly and having a blowout... on both, and not taking care of my sebbhoeric dermatitis. But enough about me, I was just using myself as an example. An example of how people are: the act of getting pierced or tattooed comes from the desire of wanting to be "cool", or being rebelous, which in turn is more than likely done for attention, and the sub-concious want to be deemed "cool."

But then there are some people like me, who like piercings for the simple attraction to metal sticking through your skin. That is honestly the reason I like piercings - I like the idea of having metal jammed through my ears. I want more, it's like an addiction, however, at the stage myself and others are at, our addiction isn't that strong. It's as strong as a 13 year old teenager who's been smoking cigarettes for a month - he's "addicted" but can honestly quit if he wants to.

So now, how do you classify who's the addicted one and mister or missus popular? Is it the piercings or the tattoos on the body, the amount on the body, or is there no way to tell at all? These questions plague my mind, and probably many on the "interwebz," and so my reason for this article to ask you, the reader, what your opinion is? Is there a way to tell, or is everyone a trendy poser, or what? It's up to you for an answer. Please respond with a text comment, or Youtube video response if you deem the answer worthy enough.

Take care, peace out,
Chad Kosteroski

Like A Baoss!

Yo, yo, yo, what's the dillio? Not much for me, just posting a early mornin' blog post before I head to bed, my home-dog! So I went home this weekend, to relax, as this next week is gonna be hella hectic. Project due on between Friday and Monday of next weekend, hopefully finished a.s.a.p. Lots to do in a short time. Then I'll be back in Melville for the summer. Yay!

So yeah, lots of talk lately about 2012 with Ariel, Curtis, and K.C. Don't really know why, part of it is sarcastic joking about how we'll survive by taking over the school and being ninjas and eventually rule the broken world, and the other part of it has been serious discussion of theories of what could potentially happen, or what we can fathom could happen. So thats been fun but has me kind of scared too. I'll talk about that in another entry.

On Saturday, instead of a seminar which was originally booked, there was a little mini tournament at the Sil Foo Kung Fu school. Me and K.C. didn't compete for medals but we didn't have some good ol' fun. We sparred once, and it was close between us, apparently by like two points or something, and I got the first point. ! <:O ! Yeah it was cool beans, but then I got handled twice in weapon sparring, so definately not doing that again. It wasn't even fun.

I'm off to home in like 12-14 hours so yeah I better get to bed so I can wake up in 6 hours and take Ariel to school. Her mom and Dave got rained out in some city and are stuck there overnight because they took the motorcycle, and Ariel didn't want to be alone at her house so she's staying here. So yeah, chat at y'all later. Peace.

Hello World...

Man, doesn't that just get old, always seeing the term "Hello World!" wherever you go. Now I don't mean in the real world because frankly it doesn't appear very often but I mean in the computer world. It's such a common phrase to begin learning some type of programming language from. Always gotta have "Hello World!" print on the main screen. If I was teaching, and I wouldn't be, I would teach something like "Yo Momma!" or something just for fun. Or tell everyone to make up their own fun phrase, make it a competition. But yeah, so I figured out of all bitchin' irony, I'll make that my blog entry title, boo yah!

So, not much is very new with me. I'm moving back to Melville for the summer, while still having a place of residence leased to me over the summer (hopefully, that is). I'll be working at TJs for around threeish months again. Wow, its like last year all over again, haha. Not really a bad thing as I'll be able to start paying off the lonely loans. So yeah hopefully its a good experience. I don't mind working there, its not a bad job, fairly easy if you ask me. Easier than cleaning my place, haha but we don't go there, as in verbally... Or written. I go there, physically, my place, but thats so I can sleep, eat, poop, and bath. Yes, thats right, BATH. Take that suckas.

I'm also hoping to get in shape in my time back in Melville. Its a small enough center that I can walk everywhere, heh, or even rollerblade. Crazy, eh? I'll be able to hang with my friends, except Ariel Pizzey, after June, because she'll be moving to S'toon. It makes me sad, but atleast her boytoy will be moving up with her in a month after she moves or something. But anyways, hmm, what else is new...

Oh, I moved my computer to the... center of my living room, because I was cleaning back by my computer and had to move it and didn't want to move it back BECAUSE I would have to move it outta there again by the end of next week so I can head on home to the Melvillez and set it up in my room or something. I doubt I'll hook it to the internets, I'll just use my parent's computer for internet use. Its just a lot of effort in my opinion, but oh well. We shall see, won't we?

So, this is a challenge for myself: to post as often as I can. We'll see how well I do. Anyways all you nobodies (as in non-existent people) and maybe somebodies (the people that actually exist), I'm off, take care and peace out.
